SEASON ONE TO SEASON SEVEN

Season Three's two-day flagship event, "a slick stage presentation and interview extravaganza," was "crawling with hot game designers; impressive." (Kotaku). Two of today's most celebrated Japanese game creators made their first public appearances in Europe, as well as Mark Healey (creator of LittleBigPlanet), and Alex Rigopulos (creator of Guitar Hero and Rock Band). For its first edition in German-speaking Europe, GAMEHOTEL swapped the familiar Silicon Valley and Paris venues for the vibrant feel of one of the continent's most thriving club environments. Season Four's exuberant GAMEHOTEL SHOW in Zurich was a resounding success, complete with a world-class guest lineup and an enthusiastic audience. Legendary game developer Peter Molyneux, one of the event's star guests, commented: "Every event on video games should be as much fun as GAMEHOTEL!" Season Five's flagship event received an equally enthusiastic reception from the audience, the media, and the industry. German National TV ZDF: “A groundbreaking gaming lifestyle event that puts games on the public radar.” During the three-hour GAMEHOTEL SHOW extravaganza, Jade Raymond, producer of the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed, and Cevat Yerli, creator of Crysis, blew away the audience with exclusive live demos of their titles. Alex Rigopulos rocked the house with a spectacular preview of his latest master piece Rock Band. Among the many highlights of the GAMEHOTEL CONGRESS, held in conjunction with the live show, was the visionary keynote speech by industry notable Doug Church, head of the Steven Spielberg Project at Electronic Arts Los Angeles. The highlight of the two-day GAMEHOTEL Season Six flagship edition was the electrifying GAMEHOTEL SHOW on a Saturday evening. The three-hour event featured some of the world's hottest game developers, including Keiichi Yano, Chris Hecker, Petri Purho, and Ru Weerasuriya, plus a new edition of the thrilling GRAND GAME BATTLE where über-motivated audience members joined the international stars on stage to show off their skills in a breathtaking multi-round battle. Season Seven introduced a new annual edition. The GAMEHOTEL BOSS SUITE premiered at Gamescom Cologne, Europe's biggest convention on interactive entertainment, attended by over 250'000 persons. On a beautiful summer evening, the latest add-on to the international event series brought together leading figures and guests from the global interactive entertainment industry for an exclusive rooftop party and talk-show extravaganza at the new Microsoft building overlooking Cologne‘s Rheinau harbor. Among the event's guest stars: Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets, Matias Myllyrinne, CEO of Alan Wake developer Remedy, Peter Molyneux, and many more. Other Season Seven events included the select GAMEHOTEL SOIREE, featuring the new Battle of Ideas, as well as a novel pop-up concept expo on interactive entertainment, attended by over 40'000 visitors from all walks of life.
