GAMEHOTEL BLIND TEST
From infectious 8 bit loops to full-blown symphonic suites - game music has become an essential part of today's cultural conscience. In the light-hearted GAMEHOTEL BLIND TEST series the audience has to correctly name famous video game tunes played by high-profile bands and ensembles.
The infamous Tanguy Ukulele Orchestra kicked off the series during the GAMEHOTEL JAPAN UNLIMITED edition. This one-of-a-kind micro-ensemble, that recently came to fame on the internet, masterfully interpreted tunes taken from Zelda, Katamari Damacy, and Space Harrier games.
Energized by a fevered throng, maestro Tanguy even demonstrated unheard of performance skills, as he immortalized the historic moment by skillfully taking pictures of the audience with his digital camera, while concurrently playing the ukulele and humming away on the familiar tunes.
